Annual Warmth Drive

Everyone’s story is different…
There are many misconceptions of how people end up homeless. Sadly, there are numerous unfortunate reasons: sudden loss of employment, mental illness, a life altering event w/no family or friends to turn to, the possibilities go on.. So even though we may not be able to fix their situation, at least we can hopefully warm their heart by letting them know someone cares for them and provide them an ounce of hope and optimism. Infinite thanks to the most amazing family and friends who come together year after year to do our small part of sharing the warmth. 10 years strong and only getting stronger! For the next few weeks we will be gathering new items of warmth (gloves, scarves, socks, sweaters, beanies, etc.) and will be wrapping them up to create gift bags at our #WalnutGirls Xmas Party 12/23 to distribute to the streets of DTLA early Christmas morning.

*Gift cards also welcomed to purchase new items if you can’t make it to the store but must be received by 12/20.
