Our HS87 family, originally from Cali’s inland empire are no strangers to the scorching 909 heat and while others had difficulty maintaining their stage presence against it, the crew rised to the occasion. During their “WeThePlug” mid-day set at Made in America Festival LA yesterday, they each performed individual songs including “Alert” by Hit-Boy, “Parade” by Audio Push, “State Of Emergency” by Kent Money and “Throw Some D’s” by Rich Boy as well as group performances with their current “Grinding My Whole Life” anthem that brought the crowd to raise their hands in unison.

Last night our Hawaiian family, Digs Hawaii brought Jhene Aiko and Dom Kennedy to perform for the first time on the islands. Jhene has visited several times but this was her first time taking the stage at Soul Sessions V.6. Past Soul Sessions performers include Musiq Soulchild, Boyz II Men and Robin Thicke alongside other DigsHi concerts with Kendrick Lamar, Pusha T, Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest and Lupe Fiasco. Nick Jonas fans have been waiting patiently for the opportunity to see the youngest brother of the Jonas Brothers perform his new solo music live. Fortunately, for a few lucky winners who won contests on Dash Radio, Myspace or What’s Trending, today was their lucky day at YouTubeSpaceLA.

Nick performed his Billboard Twitter Real Time Chart Trending song, “Chains,” that was also played at the top of every hour on “Press Play” and “Main Stage” radio stations on the new Dash Radio since the contest began, followed by a performance of his new upbeat song, “Jealous.” What’s Trending host, Shira Lazar joked that he made “jealousy seem like a positive thing” in the new song that is inevitably going to be a big hit. Videos of the performances will be available to view on YouTube via What’s Trending & his personal Nick Jonas account the week of 9/13.

Post performances, the floor was opened for a few fan questions alongside those pulled from Nick’s Facebook or the #AskNickJOnas hashtag that was retweeted by @twittermusic this week.

The highlight of course for the day for most of the fans was when they got to pose in a group photo with Nick that is available HERE on the Dash Radio Facebook page.

AGENDA Show Day 2 was filled with artists & personalities such as Bun B., Soulja Boy, Ben Baller, Peter Rosenberg, Steve Lobel, DJ Kiss & Rosa Acosta viewing the different lines but the clothing owners such as T.I., Nicky Diamonds, Blake Ricchiardi and Jim Jones were also onsite to make sure their brands Akoo, Hustle Gang, Diamond, Popular Demand & Vampire Life were represented well. Several of the guests including Stevie Williams, DJ Franzen, Lil Rome Diddy, Rosa Acosta, Pink Dolphins Owner posed for a “Don’t Shoot” photo in honor of Mike Brown of Ferguson, MO.

Myspace Secret Show celebrating the release of Wiz’s new album out on Rostrum/Atlantic Records – “Blacc Hollywood.” First 800 fans that lined up after receiving an email confirmation that they were one of the select chosen were treated to the most intimate concert Wiz Khalifa has played in years. DJ E-Man of Power 106 was onsite to warm up the crowd. Atlantic Records flew in radio winners across country who were escorted with Brannon Scales, VP of Radio Promotion.
