1587 Hawaii global grassroots marketing agency kicks off a series of “good music” events with Olangapo City, Philippines rapper Ez Mil. Ez is known for breaking the Internet with his hit song, “Panalo” that garnered over 75 million plays on YouTube alone from his memorable Wish USA bus performances.

Hundreds of YouTube reactors from around the world didn’t understand exactly what he was saying but heard the passion in his cadence and Filipinos around the world were shocked to hear Ez perform in 3 of the country’s dialects including Filipino (Tagalog), Ilocano & Visayan.

His lyrics were piercing with topics ranging from Spain colonization to colorism to his influences from Eminem, Kendrick and ASAP Rocky – over 7,000 miles away in the Philippines.

Ez Mil just released his “Du4lity” album out on FFP Records / Virgin Music with hit songs like “Re-Up” and “Up Down.” He wrote and produced every song on the album personally – playing every instrument and singing every tune as well.

After his Power 106 “On the 8th Floor” freestyle that paid homage to Justincredible, Sour Milk and Good Morning Gabe from the LA Leakers was previewed online – hundreds again reacted to his unique style and lyrics. Ez is not just a dope Filipino / Asian rapper – he’s a dope rapper that happens to be Filipono that can run toe to toe with the best of them.

Filipinos are no strangers to quality Hip Hop – from the Invisibl Skratch Piklz to the World Famous Beat Junkies in DJing to Phil Tayag, Rainen, Stahyl, B-Boy Ronnie in b-boying, to rapping from Black Eyed Peas Co-Founder APL.de.ap, Bambu, P-Lo, Guap, Ruby Ibarra, MBNel to multi-platinum producers like !llmind and DJ Flict.

With a huge Filipino and Asian population on the Hawaiian islands – this night will be memorable – not just for those of Asian descent but those witnessing history in the making of every ethnicity – not just virally online but IRL.
