Freestyle Session 15 Year Anniversary
15 years ago I embarrassingly entered a freestyle MC battle in San Diego (thanks David Woo)
13-11 years ago I was working the cash door for promoters Cros-1 and Polo Molina.
7 years ago Little Brown Girl / SexyFresh & Third Floor Radio were selling out of gear at the Myspace booth and handing out our first Myspace Hip Hop compilations
And yesterday enjoyed just watching as a spectator at how many kids were experiencing a session for the first time with b-boys and b-girls from around the world coming to compete.
Here is a snapshot of the floor before the competition began. The kids weren’t scared at all to enter the dance floor with the adults … Loved it!
