At 7:00pm there was already a long line outside The Observatory OC way that stretched past the sides of the front wall. Music fans made their way from all parts of town to see the one and only, Cali’ own, Ty Dolla$ign.
Before the show started, TY remained his humble, generous and herb loving self as he shook hands, gave hugs, and signed merchandise for numerous of fans who showed that extra dash of support during an intimate meet and greet in a backstage area outside. As the crowd waiting in line began more and more eager to settle into the sold out venue, TY made his way backstage and the crowd flooded in behind him. Almost instantly, the venue filled up with such a diverse group of fans with one thing in common; TY Dolla $ign.
After opening act 4Palms hit the stage, the lights dimmed and on jumped the beautiful Mila J, Bobby Brackins with special guest Jeremih, and of course, Joe Moses. Hyped as ever, DJ Sinatra introduces the man of the night and the whole place goes wild! Ladies and gentlemen, The Beach House tour has officially begun…
Every lyric that came from TY was sung back in sync from the crowd, and every move made gained a reaction. Each scream getting louder as he came closer to the front row and the vibe getting stronger as the minutes carried on. Performing classic hits like, Toot It and Boot It and All-Star, TY followed up with his most recent hits Or Nah, Paranoid and with the help of LA’s own Dom Kennedy, rocked The Observatory with their collaborated hits.
Though TY was most recently listed as one of XXL’s Freshman for the year of 2014, it’s clear he’s far from a rookie. We at Third Floor Network thank Santa Ana for rockin’ with us and making that statement an evident fact! We look forward to checking out more shows at The Observatory OC to share with you here.
