Quincy, an up-and-coming musician in his own right, recently stopped by the Myspace office in Los Angeles to discuss what it was like growing up under the famous rapper’s wing – and where he plans to take his own music.

Quincy, whose biological father is R&B singer Al B. Sure!, was raised by Diddy, but he told us that most of his childhood memories are the same as anyone else’s. As in, he had chores too. What is unusual is that Quincy’s earliest memory of music was being in the studio with Biggie Smalls and Diddy. But how did he becomes an artist himself? The musician, who has been working on his own tracks since he was 16 and also pursued a career in movies, told us all about his formative beginnings, musical inspirations and what songs were playing on the radio when he was a kid.”
