DJ Knuckles (who could be mistaken as Drake’s light skinned older brother) had this song on repeat when he took me to the airport. The night before he played it for me for the first time at our San Francisco gig together at the Harlot before crazy rocker Bob Schneider played an acoustic set for the intimate crowd. I fell in love with it after first listen and now it’s my favorite song off the album. I admit I’m super late here as I’m just finally getting around to listening to Drizzy’s latest but love RiRi’s lyrics most. “I know you’ve been hurt before…”
Isn’t life all about wanting to be able to “take care” of someone and have them want to “take care” of us?
